The seven words that will change your life

Dear Energy Lady,
About six months ago, my biggest client suffered a setback, and my business hasn't been the same since.  I've tried to be supportive and keep touching base with them, but nothing is happening.  Is there any way I can help them energetically so we can start doing business again?

Signed,
In a sinkhole

Dear Sinkhole,
I was at a convention a few years ago where the keynote speaker gave us some advice:  "There are seven words that will change your life," she said.  "And here they are:  When the horse is dead, get off."

I'm not saying that your client will never recover, but right now, that horse is dead, so get off.   Every time you worry about them or contact them hoping to do business again, you're infusing them with more of the scared, negative energy of scarcity and frustration that they neither want nor need right now.  So the very best thing you could do for them energetically is to back off until you are in a better place to help them.

It's never easy to lose a client, especially your biggest one.  But "big" is only as big as you can currently perceive it.  What if there were even a bigger, better client for you?  Or what if there were a dozen smaller clients who would help you expand your skills and network?  What if there were no new clients, which might push you in the direction of joining with an organization or different group of people?  The possibilities are endless.

Try not to judge or reject anything right now.  One of the best things you can do for your previous client or yourself right now is to simply let go.  Release them with your blessings.  At some point, you may start to feel that you have No-Thing left, which can actually be a good thing.  For the vibration of No-Thing is where all possibilities are born.  If you only stay with what you can imagine, you will only get a variation of what you have already experienced.  But if you stay open, higher vibrations can arise within and around you, and that's when wonder-FULL things start to happen.

And if, in the meantime, you need a new source of income, go get one.  Figure out what you need to do to pay your bills, and  live within your means until things improve.

So remember: you're not in a sinkhole, you're in a swimming pool!  Float your way back to the top.

Love,
EL
