A Perfect Week

Dear Energy Lady,
I have always wondered what it would be like to have a perfect week.  How can you stay in the flow 100% of the time?  Is this even possible?

Signed,
Life is Easy?

Dear Easy,
To answer your questions, I have to ask you a few:
--What's your definition of "perfect"?
--Why/when do you think you're out of the "flow"?
--What is it that you really want to experience?

Let's just say, for instance, that your definition of "perfect" is "no problems."  So you're asking, "how can I have a week without any problems?"  It does sound tempting, doesn't it?  But did you ever see the movie "Pleasantville"?  In that movie, there was a little town where nothing ever went wrong.  It was always pleasant...and boring.   We use the contrast of things going wrong to set them right, which helps us experience ourselves in satisfying ways.

But let's say that you'd like every deal to go through, every phone call to be answered and every encounter you have be satisfying.  For that to happen, the people involved in those situations with you would need to want the same thing, and when you're working with energy, you can't create in another person's experience.

Then there's the question of "flow."  You're never out of the field of energy; you are it, it's in you and everything and everyone else.  So there's no way you can be disconnected from it (which is why I write this blog--people don't seem to realize that, and use it in unintended ways).

So what can you do to have a "perfect" week?

Start with your intention.  How would you like to feel?  No one but you can determine your feelings and/or your attitude, so if you'd like it to be happy, then make it so.  If something happens that you think is bad or that makes you feel unhappy, don't ignore the feeling--happily welcome it and the growth and understanding it can give you.

Then, to whatever degree is possible, stay awake and aware to what is right and good.  Notice the good drivers on your way to work--you'll be amazed at how many there are!  Notice when the elevator works, the door opens, the coffee is already brewed, the computer works and the people in your office do what they're supposed to be doing.  Notice where in your body you DON'T hurt.  Just start paying attention to what is working, and you'll start to create and attract more of it.   You can also look for what is perfect, and you'll likely find that, too--a job well done, friends smiling, a good meal--the possibilities are endless.

Finally, bless and be thankful for all that is going well for you.  Share your abundance of intelligence, love or caring with others.  Bring goodness to the world and be open to what goodness is here for you.

All this may not create a perfect week, but it will certainly create an adventure in adding significantly to your happiness, which will raise your vibration and undoubtedly create more good things happening to and through you!

Love,
EL
