What's NOT wrong?

Dear Energy Lady,
I'm tired of dealing with one problem after another.  Is there any way to change this?

Signed,
Hoping for something better

Dear Hoping,
Yes, you can definitely change this with a little game called "What's NOT wrong?"

Here's how you play it:  start noticing not what's right, but what's NOT wrong.

Here's an example: The next time you're out on the freeway, notice what's not wrong.  You'll probably be surprised to see all the safe drivers.  Most people only notice accidents and police stops.  When you do, you may even find that traffic speeds up or you feel more relaxed at the wheel, and get to your destination faster.

If you have a big problem--like a health crisis, a debt or relationship issues--how do you look for what's NOT wrong?  Realize that if you hit your thumb with a hammer, your attention will go to the pain, not the fact that, at that moment, your feet feel fine.  But if you shift your attention to your feet, you'll often find that the pain in your thumb goes away.  At any given moment, you have trillions of functions going on in your body.  Even when you have a condition of some kind, the majority of them are working just fine.  Focus on what's not wrong, and you'll likely start feeling much better.

The energetic principle behind this recommendation is that whatever you pay attention to expands.  So if you keep messing with your problems, you just get bigger problems.  Stop doing that.  When you're tempted to dwell on a problem, find something in yourself or your environment that isn't wrong.  Focus on that.  You will immediately feel better, which will raise your vibration.  Then just keep expanding your focus on what isn't wrong.  It's actually a fun game, and the more you play it, the lighter you'll feel, the higher you'll vibrate, and the more things will improve.

This is not positive thinking, by the way.  Positive thinking is exhausting if you're forcing it.  It's just shifting focus, and allowing yourself to notice what's not wrong.  It's not gratitude, either, although that is a wonderful practice and great for raising your vibration.  It's just unblocking the flow so what's been waiting for you all along can reveal itself to you.

Have fun!

Love,
EL
